Anybody get one of these cases for your iPhone? How is it? I would like a clear case to show off the back and the Reveal is one that does this. Anybody have thoughts on this, how is it with reception?

I am using one on my iP4 right now i definitely reccomend it.
I read a review that is obscures the flash when taking a picture - is this true? Also, how compatible is it with docks, both Apple and aftermarket (like a Belkin car charger)? Thanks!
I recommend that you DON'T buy this case, I bought mine from day one and it put on straight away. I took it off yesterday just to check all was well with my phone and noticed that I now had two large deep scratches on the back, where something had got caught between the plastic backing and the phone. I am completely gutted that this has happened, I bought the case to stop this from happening not cause it!
If you really wan't to have this case I recommend that you have a shield on the back before put this case on.

I recommend the Speck cases.. pixel skin. They are not out yet for IP4, but both my fiance and I had them for our 3gs and they saved them many times. I also dropped my 3gs numerous times and it absorbed most of the shock.
Where in the back were the gouges? How do you put the back on, do you just snap it on?
I have a good generic after-market gel case in smoke-black that I bought from a kiosk at a mall. It works pretty good as a cover/shock absorber, but I'm interested in getting something that is clear and shows off the back. I bought a Belkin clear-gel case and contrary to the ad, the backing is not clear, it's cloudy and looks really cheap.
If the case is tight enough to cause a scratch, don't put a shield on it first! The shield will just peel away at the edges. Instead, be SURE that both the back of the phone AND the inside of the case are free of any dust before putting the phone in the case! I learned this lesson long ago with my first iPod, a first generation Nano. Ended up with a big fat scratch down that beautiful chrome back because of some little piece of dust or granule of something. Now when I put a case on any piece of electronics, I get a microfiber cloth and wipe off the entire device and the case. That is the only way to ensure that the case doesn't cause a scratch!
On another note, has anyone who has this case dropped their phone? I was going to wait for Incase to come out with cases but they are taking too long! I'm thinking of going clear because of how cool this phone looks, but I don't want a case that will pop off or crack if dropped. While I am very careful with my phone, I am clumsy!

The scratches will occur no matter what. My 3G's back is destroyed after keeping it in a case, in my pocket, for 90% of its life. Dirt/dust/debris will get between the case and your phone. Its inevitable. Only thing to do is buy the invisishield for the front and back, or keep it out of your pocket and away from any position where it might get debris in the case. Hope this helps!
The best cases to get for a iphone are one of the three otterbox cases depending on what you like they have light cases to heavy duty cases which range from 20 to 50 bucks they are well worth it

Thanks, excellent products and prices!
I got the iFrogz case for my phone. It is packaged by AT&T. The thing I like most about it is that it has a felt lining on the inside to protect the phone. It is 2 pieces and snaps together, covering the back. Mine is purple and black. Comes in other colors. Sturdy, nice feel when holding.
Thanks. Like I said, I'm looking for one with a clear back to show it off. 🙂
I bought one of these from Best Buy. It's ok - not great - as a case. It also doesn't play nice with my Konnet iCrado dock ( http://www.amazon.com/KONNET-iCrado-Stylish-Metal-iPhone/dp/B00243FHD6 ) or my Kensington Car Charger ( http://us.kensington.com/html/14486.html ). In both cases the connector does not insert fully into the iPhone preventing a proper connection.
I have a Griffin Reveal case and I'm pleased with it.I've never had the reception issue so I can't speak to that, but I can tell you that it doesn't help with the proximity issue.I have a black case and it does look great on the phone
Griffin Reveal case for iPhone 4 - anybody get one of these?
