Changing hyperlink text color?

Hi Peggy--

Thanks, but that's not doing it for me. The formatting bar functions the same as the Inspector: the selected color in the "inkwell" changes, but the text itself doesn't. I've tried selecting the entire link text and part of it, with hyperlinks active and inactive.... same results.

I'm wondering if it's because this is a hyperlink displayed within a footnote? (Changing the color of the "Footnote" style changes the non-hyperlink text in the note, but not the hyperlink.)

Hm. Okay, so it's not that.... :-/ But it's still not working for me.

I can change the font and make it bold, but the color stays stuck:

In fact, as I move the cursor through the link, I see the inkwell change color to indicate that the color code IS stored in there somehow--it's just not displaying. Is there some kind of "override style sheet" checkbox somewhere that I might have selected accidentally?

I don't know why this works, but it did:

1. Click near the link and arrow the cursor into it.
2. UN-check "Enable as a hyperlink" in the Inspector. (Text turns black.)
3. RE-check "Enable as a hyperlink." (Text turns blue.)
4. Change the color with no problem.

(Now, if I could just figure out how to change ALL hyperlinks in the document simultaneously!) 😉

One caveat: the four-step method I describe above, I've just discovered, resets the active hyperlink to (I'm assuming) your Safari home page--I needed to re-enter the desired URLs into the Inspector to get the links to point to the correct locations.
