iphone 4 cases causing pictures to look blue when using your flash
anyone else have a case on their iphone that is causing their pictures at night too look blue and cloudy? i just purchased a incipio silicrylic case yesterday at the att store, i didnt notice anything until last night when i was outside taking pictures using my flash, the pictures were comming up very blurry and had like a really blue haze over them, i finally realized it was my case causing that, it seems the holes on the cases are not large enough for the flash to perform properly, is anything going right with these phones?
I have the switcheasy NUDE clear case and my pics come out fine with the flash. I think you just have a poorly designed case! I did have a cheap clear plastic case from ebay before the switcheasy case came out and I did have your problem!
Guess what, my protective transparent cover was still stuck on the back over the flashlight area. It had been stuck on so well, it was totally invisible! It wan't until I took off my heavy duty rubber cover that I found it. Trust this will help others with the same problem.
My camera does the same thing. With or without a case on it. I just double checked and I'm pretty sure I just scratched the back of my phone checking to see if there was a clear cover on it. My friend got her phone at the same time I did and her flash is perfect. 😟
I have had the same problem. Just got my new iphone4 yesterday and found when taking photos with flash the photos had a blue haze. First I discovered that I still had the protective plastic cover on (dur!!) but then although the haze was not as pronounced, it was still there. Finally my husband realised that if he took the cover off the iphone, the flash picture was perfect. It's a rubbery case and cost $30, so not too cheap. Anyway, we have cut a bigger hole around the flash and now the photos are perfect.
I had the same problem blue hue in any pic taken with flash on. I have just taken the plastic back cover and now it works fine. I hope this helps you all.
I had the same blue haze on the photos using the camera flash. My iphone had a nice aluminum case which enhanced its nice looking design even more. The problem was completely resolved when I removed the case, or when using a clear, transparent plastic case which I hadn' t used till now.
