itunes keeps asking to authorize computer

I am stumped and getting angry. Every time i want to play a song from my music list, itunes asks that I authorize the computer. i go ahead and enter the account name and pass and after a second it says "this computer is already authorized". I then attempt to play the same song and the mesg comes up again. Over and over i do this and i don't know what to do anymore. I am very frustrated at the moment. Anybodies solution would be of great help to me. Thanks in advance!

I am having the same problem also but with TV shows.

First thing you should do is upgrade you OS to 10.5.8.

I have the same problem. I have had 3 emails with itunes support and even though I keep telling him I have been to the apple website and done all the trouble shooting he just keeps sending me the same links over and over.

My Problem solved. At some point many years ago a duplicate account was made, same info, same password the only difference was a capital letter in the user ID. The account had not been used in so long that it had been deauthorized by apple. I put in a call to apple iphone support and they contacted itunes and fixed the problem. The funny thing is, itunes support could not find the account I use and have been using the past 6 years. Oh well. Problem solved. Oh I found the duplicate account because someone suggested comparing the songs that would not play and the songs closest to them that would play, study the songs info line by line looking for ANY difference.
Thanks Katrina for the suggestions, if not I would have never noticed that one capital N that made all the difference.
