It works with my wall charger and my other computer, so it isisolated to this computer. I tried reinstalling itunes, and the phone, with no luck. I doubt restarting will help, so I'll leave that until someone offers some advice.Dell Inspiron 1545, iOS 4, Windows 7

under "services" tab put a CHECK in the box that says hide all microsoft services,
then make sure there is a check in any apple programs ie: apple mobile device, bonjour service and ipod service.
Now under the "startup" tab make sure all APPLE programs have a checkmark ie: itunes and quicktime.
restart the computer
if none of that works..../
in device manager right click on the apple driver and update if it works restart computer, if it doesnt work uninstall the driver and restart computer and then plug phone in.pc and mac, iPhone OS 3.1.2
