SIM card try wont open

I'm struggling to open the SIM Card tray, for some reason im pushing down on the hold but it wont pop out... am I doing something wrong?

Compaq Presario, 2.8GHz processor, 1GB RAM.

If this is the first time you are opening the sim tray, it can be very hard and needs a fair bit of force. Make sure you use the eject tool provided and not a paper clip (as a paper clip will bend).

Place your iphone on a lens cloth or something similar and hold the eject tool straight in the hole and push down firmly.

I am using the pin provided with my iPhone 5C to open the sim tray but it still doesn't open. I am not opening it for the first time. So what do I do?
