Electronic Cleaning Wipes??

I have electronic cleaning wipes for the computer screen. They are moist, but not dripping wet. Are they safe for the screen? I'm hesitant to use them-not sure why. I did a search (online) and I couldn't quite figure out the right answer. I figured people here would know more than anywhere else. I don't want to mess the screen up...

I think the iPad comes with a suggestion that you use a soft cloth, slightly moistened. I find that a microfiber cloth works just fine.

Page 26 of the manual:

Then use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPad. iPad has an oleophobic coating on the screen; simply wipe the iPad screen with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oil left by your hands.

Michele,

I use a microfiber cloth and distilled water, which I apply with a 2 oz. Bottle Crew "Fingertip Sprayer" I got at Walmart. Works like a charm.
