Can't send or recieve texts/MMS on iPhone4

I bought an iPhone 4 two days ago, and I hadn't had problems with text messaging until I tried sending a picture message today. Since then, I haven't been able to send or receive texts. I've checked my settings to make sure MMS was enabled, and it is. I've turned my phone on and off and I've done the reboot. It always shows that I have full reception, and text messaging is still not working. What more can I do or try in order to fix this problem?

What do you mean by unable to send txt mags? Do you get a error message? What happens when you hit the send button.

picture messages come back with an error, and regular text messages appear to go through but the messages aren't delivered, meaning they really don't go through (I've tested it out with a couple of people and they do not receive my texts)

One thing you could try is sending mms or SMS to one of your own email id's and that should tell you if the message is being delivered or not.

Secondly check your AT&T data usage for the sent SMS/mms. That could tell you if the messages are hitting your account or not. Could be AT&T issue or even the recipient's carrier issue.

I just checked my at&t data usage, and it confirms that my messages never went through (both SMS and MMS) starting from 3 PM today. I also sent myself a couple of texts to check if it was working that way, and it isn't. SMS was working fine yesterday and earlier, and today was the first day I attempted to use MMS, but now neither are working. I'm lost as to what to do about it :/

I am having the same issue. It started today. I will call AT&T tomorrow to confirm my text/sms plan. I have also tried to restore and nothing changes, as well as turning off MMS and then back on.

sigh. I just got this problem today. I have an iPhone 4 and it seemed to start AFTER I got off the phone with AT&T trying to get my visual voicemail to work. After so many attempts, I decided to restore and my visual voicemail is now working but now my text messages aren't.

I check online to see and my last text was around noon, which was before I got on the phone with AT&T. Could they have done something to my account to stop text msgs?

Please help, I'm so sick of this.
