I want to have songs and video on my ipod touch. I have over 5000 songs in itunes. I know videos will not fit with that amount.

My question is, how many videos will fit on the touch if I have like 1000 songs?

iPod Touch 32GB, Windows Vista

For what it's worth, I have about 1300 songs and 6 full-length movies on my 16 GB Touch, and it has plenty of room left.

The songs take 4.8 GB and the movies 3 GB. With apps, etc. I have almost 6 GB left. If I had a 32 GB device, I'd have about 22 GB remaining. If six movies take three GB, then 22 GB should hold around 44 movies, for a total of 50.

Of course, it all depends on the size of the movies. If you don't rip them yourself, you may find that they are much larger than 0.5 GB each. And if you're talking about TV shows, they should be much smaller.

It all depends on the bitrate the music is encoded at.

I have the 64 GB with 2109 songs and 17 movies and I'm using 20GB of storage.

The movies are around 11.5GB and music takes up 8.5GB.

All my music is encoded at 128kbps.

@ZacMan527 My music is encoded at 192 in mp3.

I think I'll convert them all into 128.

If I were to convert them into AAC format, would it make the space less?
