Adding Contacts to Iphone 4

I recently bought an Iphone 4 and I wanted to know is their a software program that would allow me to type up contacts on the computer and sync them with my Iphone? The previous phone (Tilt) I had I just added the contacts manually to the phone. So I don't have anything on my Sim card. I would appreciate any help given. Thanks!

hmmmm try adding it to an address book on ur start menu on ur computer!! i know my contacts from my old phone went straight onto an address book on my computer so they are already stores on my windows vista u can try that idk if it ill help

Sync contacts with ... Windows Contacts (Vista and Windows 7), or Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 on a PC.

Use google contacts, it works great, you never have to worry about syncing with another device or when you upgrade, it's all waiting in the cloud for you! I have all my devices using it, along with the calendar. You can't beat it and it's 100% free.
