Need codec pack for h.264 to play .mp4

I bought a motor sports camera that records HD format that doesn't seem to work with any media player I have!

I quote from their website under the trouble shooting section:

I don't use PC, I am using my MacBook Pro and I have iTunes, iMovie, VLC, QuickTime Pro, DivX and Real Player but none can run the recorded movies.
