Does Fedex deliver on Monday July 5?

No deliveries at all on July 5, fedex home does not run again until July 7th. I understand apple is now using fedex home. My phone was in Sikeston, MO 45 minutes from me yesterday morning at 7AM. Then I see a note online that says not due for delivery. I thought it must be some mistake, home all day and no phone. About four I checked the fedex site and it has been shipped back to Memphis, 3 hours away. It has been there all day and I suspect all day tomorrow. If history serves it will be sent to Sikeston again on Tuesday, the will add a not due for delivery not and send it back to Memphis. Then Memphis will send it back up on Wednesday at which point Sikeston will put it on a truck for delivery and I will have it by 10:30am.

Mine was 45 minutes away in Sikeston Missouri. The note on the tracking said not due for delivery until July 7. Later in the day I checked again and my phone was shipped back to Memphis, three hours away, where it remains. I don't expect to see it until the 7th.

If Fedex is closed on the 4,5 and 6....why has my package (Iphone 4) been moving all weekend?

Mine is scheduled for delivery by 3pm on the 6th. It's 90 minutes away from me, in Denver right now. Wish I could just go snag it...

If the package is being sent via Express or Ground then they will probally deliever on the July 6.

FedEx is not delivering to customers on July 4th and July 5th. They are also not delivering FedEx Home on July 6th. This doesn't mean they aren't moving packages from sorting facility to sorting facility. Mine shows delivery on July 7th. If I comes tomorrow that would be great, but I am not holding my breath. If it was going to be delivered early, I would have got it on Saturday when it was only 45 miles away at 7am.

Sorry, no, at least not for most of us. FedEx Express is used for business delivery.

From what I understand, Apple used FedEx Express for the launch date to make certain the iPhone 4.0 arrived on the launch date (or a couple days before for some people). Those of us who didn't make the launch date got the slower FedEx Home Delivery service.

Apple is currently using FedEx Home.

OK, FedEx warehouses run 24/7 365 days a year. If they don't, they'd have massive delays across the country. FedEx jets fly 24/7 365 days a year. Same reason.

There's no delivery on the 4th (of course, a Sunday, when they don't deliver) and the 5th (a legal holiday, most businesses are closed). On the 6th, they will be delivering FedEx Express, because that's mostly used by businesses. FedEx Home Delivery is closed, probably because they have to catch up on the business deliveries (or so I was told).

Well, it can't go ground because it's coming from China. And they're not using Express any more. Sorry.
