I just upgraded from a PowerMac G5 running Leopard to an intel MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard. With the G5, I have been printing checks with no problem on a HP LaserJet P1006, but with the new computer they print as if the paper is rotated 180 degrees. Rotating the check doesn't work, because it messes up the alignment.
I used the Migration Assistant to move all of my apps, docs, etc., and everything else seems to be ok.
Any help will be much appreciated-I really need this functionality!

It's could be the program or the printer. Have you checked the Print dialogue box? Quicken 2007 requires that Rosetta be running on your Mac. Check with Intuit.
Have you tried updating the driver? Snow Leopard support for this printer was added with the HP 2.2 update, available through Software Update. You should probably back up your current setup, just in case the newer driver does not address this issue. If it doesn't, contacting HP should be the next step.
It's part of the install but you would need to select it to be installed. However, you can check to see if it was installed by doing a Get-Info (select the Quicken icon and type command-I) on the Quicken program and if the dialogue box allows the option to "Open using Rosetta" check the box.
Well, I installed Rosetta and downloaded the latest driver for the printer. Interestingly, Quicken 2007's Get Info box doesn't have the checkbox to open in Rosetta. Checks still print upside down.
I found a workaround, though: I "print" the check to Preview, then rotate it 180 degrees and print to the printer. I can live with that, but I hope someday to figure out what happened...
I'm going to leave this question unanswered for now, but thanks for the help!
