The toolbar icons are too small for my bad eyes to read. Pages-numbers etc
The program headers and toolbars underneath are very small and difficult to read. The font window that lists the fonts looks like a size 7 font. Very small. Is there a way to make these bigger?
For the icons, as far as I know, there is no workaround.
For the fonts, you may check the box entitled
"Show font preview in Format Bar font menu"
You will get larger characters in this menu.
The Fonts window is ruled by the Operating System. I don't know a way to enlarge the characters.
It doesn't use a 7 points size but a 12 points one.

Yes, but today's computers are much less talented at this than CRT monitors were, and you pay for the larger size with blurriness. LCD monitors are really meant to operate at their native (maximum) resolution.
Even it is more blurry in lower resolution it is fully readable. I don't use the highest resolution on my computer because than the font and icon are just too small even though they are sharp.
Well, that's a totally personal choice, of course. Just thought it should be mentioned, since many people do complain (I hear about this daily, believe me).
Also, if you go too low with the pixel dimensions, some programs won't run properly (usually if you go below 1024 x 768).
It would be nice if they could get resolution-independent graphics going in the next version of OS X.
Unfortunately, the format bar isn't editable either in content or size. I suggest you leave feedback for the Pages team regarding this. You can find it under the Pages menu > Provide Pages Feedback. That takes you to the same page as
this link. Hopefully, if enough of us request this it will be added in a future version.
