Facebook uploads pending

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have the same problem with mine after I published one album on Facebook through iPhoto, then it stopped working. It kept showing “uploading thumbnails" on the already published album, and when I try to upload any new pictures it says pending and I am not able to quit iPhoto unless I use Force Quit!

I tried the Flickr account too, same thing. It just says pending and not doing anything. I suspect iPhoto will not be able to upload any pictures to any accounts unless the "uploading thumbnails" problem is fixed in the first album. It is very frustrating, and I'd appreciate any input to help me fix this problem.

Yes I did. Tried to stop the sync and delete it, but didn't seem to work.

I just deleted my Facebook account from iPhoto and tried adding it again, then I was able to upload one picture to Facebook successfully before it stopped again. The published the album from before was still "updating thumbnails" and it's forever stuck that way. I have been trying to delete it for two weeks now, no success. Arrrrggggh....

Darn ... I seem to be having the same problem... with ALL my online accounts (I have MobileMe and Flickr, too). They seem to have published fine to start with, but I needed to make some modifications, and now all I see is the spinning chaser in the source column (where it says Web) and the candycane progress indicator at the top with "Pending...".

Apple -- what's up with this? I've had more crashes with iPhoto 9 than any Apple software in a long time. (And yes, I've rebuild the library.)

I'm having the exact same symptoms even AFTER deleting and recreating my Facebook profile. Not only that, it LOST TRACK of the external drive where my library is located and UNMOUNTED IT! This is a rock solid RAID drive that never has any problems. Maybe iPhoto has a problem with libraries located on external drives?

I managed to export a small album with 8 photos in it, it only took about *15 minutes!* A 30 photo library -- forget it! "Pending" forever...

You may have web sync set to manual - have you clicked on the little update icon to the right of the Facebook album

I think I am experiencing the same problem.

Unfortunately I seem to have this problem now, too. Stuck on "pending" and the only way I can get uploads to resume (temporarily) is to force quit and restart. What's the deal, Apple?
