Midi Issue

I have a mid problem
I have a TR 808 and CR 8000 drum machine both have midi.
I doesn't seem to be triggering properly the notes are triggering randomly
I have tried them in ableton live and they work on that.
I have tried Midi reset but still no joy.
any tips?
