Console Log shows constant, repeating error message

I am running 10.6.4 and my machine seems to be running a lot hotter along with my battery (13" MBP) possibly running down quicker.

I have seen other having this issue after updating to 10.6.4, but PRAM & SMC reset did not help. So I went looking in activity monitor and then Console Log where these three message are constantly coming up.

Error message:

05/07/2010 20:14:58 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[126] (com.logmein.logmeingui[874]) posix_spawn("/Library/Application Support/LogMeIn/bin/LogMeInGUI.app/Contents/MacOS/LogMeInGUI", ...): No such file or directory

05/07/2010 20:14:58 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[126] (com.logmein.logmeingui[874]) Exited with exit code: 1

05/07/2010 20:14:58 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[126] (com.logmein.logmeingui) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

I cannot find any LogMeIn files or prefs to delete (as the log suggests).

I don't think this should be pushing my computer too much but I know it shouldn't be doing it constantly.

Thanks for any help suggested.

What do you mean you can't find any logmein items? If you've never installed it, then it wouldn't be showing up in the log file. Open /Library/Application Support/ and delete the LogMein folder. Then, look in every LaunchAgent and LaunchDaemon folder in each Library folder and delete any related LogMein item. Finally, restart and see if that fixes things.

Sorry, i did not mention that I had installed LogMeIn and (thought I had) deleted all relevant files.

There were no LogMeIn files in either Application Support folders, this is where I had been looking.

There were about 4 instances of LogMeIn files in LaunchDaemon and LaunchAgent and deleting these has stopped the error messages in the Console.

Thank you for your help.
