iphone 4 insurance

I'm looking to get insurance for iphone 4 32gb. Not interested in applecare and at&t's coverage. Looked into safeware, worth ave and square trade.

safeware - coverage for liquid, drops, and theft $99/yr w/$50 deductible
worth ave - coverage for liquid, drops, and theft $80/yr w/$50 deductible
square trade - coverage for liquid and drops only $99/yr w/$50 deductible

I am leaning towards worth ave due to premium cost and theft coverage. I never insured my original iphone so i don't have any experience dealing with these companies. Has anyone used these policies. Anyone make claims with these companies in the past and have an opinion on them?

Also what is the full retail cost of the iphone 4 32 gb? is it $600?

For me, it doesn't make sense.

You pay $99 for the plan (Per year, btw).
If you break it, you have $50 deductible.
But Apple will "repair" any broken phone for $199 ...and only if a bad thing happens.

The only time you will have to pay full retail ($699) is if it is stolen or lost. Your homeowners insurance may cover part of that.

Personally, I'd be careful with the phone, not leave it lying around, and gamble the $50 against the for sure $99+50. Double that for the second year. If you tend to lose things, buy the Undercover app from the app store for $5 (one time). Or sign up for MobileMe.
