Ok, so when I hook up my phone to my MacBook Pro, all the pictures and videos get transferred to my iPhoto. If I want to create a slide show I can easily drag and event into iMovie and it's there. However, I can't get the videos from iPhoto to come over with them. Is there an easy way to drag the movies from iPhoto to iMovie? I can't seem to figure it out.
Open iMovie, and look at the Event Browser. There should be an entry for Videos from iPhoto. You can drag these clips or portions of them directly into your project. It may need to generate thumbnails the first time you do this.
I attempted to complete this, however my iphoto videos does not capture all videos within my iphoto application that were created by my iphone 4. How can I get these clips to be visible within imovie?
This works for me, and I have an iPhone 4. Thanks, AppleMan, for the hint about the iPhoto Videos icon. For reference, it's in the "Event Library," not the "Event Browser" as you had it. Confused me for a bit.
What about when you have iTunes syncing photos to Aperture, including video. The iPhone videos show up in Aperture but in only the iPhone photos are showing not the videos.
I'd rather not use iPhoto can anyone tell me how to make the videos in Aperture show up in the Media Browser in iMovie?
I just need to add to this question. I am having the exact same problems with Aperture, with one addition. iMovie will recognize my videos in Aperture from my 3GS, but not my HD from my iPhone 4. What's going on?
Any luck w/ this issue? I am having the exact opposite problem. All of my videos shot on my Iphone 4 appear as they should in the Aperture Folder within the iMovie event library, but none of the videos I shot on my 3GS appear, though they all reside in the same folder within Aperture. Help?!?
imovie doesn't support HD format,so you must convert to the format which imovie recognize, then it will be easy to do next step.iMovie Video Converter is most help for you.
