iPhone Calender wont Sync to PC

Hi Guy's I'm a Newbie here.

I'm using a 3gs with iSO4 and PC is running XP and Office 2007.

I have just rebuilt my PC (Formatted hard drive etc etc..) I have mnaged to sync everything I need, but when I try to sync my Calender from the iPhone to Office 2007 all that happens is my calenders on both PC and iPhone get wiped clean and the only way of getting them back is to restore the setting in iPhone!

I have selected the "Merge Info" so it shares info with PC and iPhone, but still wont work!

A couple of months ago I somehow managed to also duplicate my one calender into 2 more of less exact copies and don't know how to Delete one!

Help, Help, Help. I am getting totally stressed now!

Thanks for that, but still no joy!

It's just wiped all my calenders again!

It came up saying the iPhone is sync'd with another account, then gave me an option to merge or replace all data on the iPhone with that on the computer. So I chose the Merge, but the only thing that has sync'd is the entry I put on the computer!

So I will need to Restore the phone again to get the Calender back.

Is it maybe an issue that I have somehow managed to get 2 duplicate calenders on the iPhone itself? How would I delete one of these?

Thanks, Although not what I wanted to hear!

When I have backed up the iPhone, where are the calender entries backed up to. Ie is is there a work around that I can get the backup enry into Outlook so I can Sync everything? As at the moment should my iPhone go tits up or get lost I am screwed!

And on top of that my laptop appears to have died!

Is there then not any way at present that I can back all of the data that is in the calender in my iPhone, untill this issue gets resolved?

Or is my only option to manually put EVERY entry into Outlook?

iTunes has actually backed up my calender, is there any way of accessing this data and putting it into outlook?
