The App Store icon missing on my iPod Touch

hi all,
im using an ipod touch 3G 32gb.i had a recent os update from apple & after updating the os the app store icon is missing from the ipod display. now im unable to access the apple store.i tried reinstallin the itunes but still the problem exists..lookin for possible assistance.

toshiba satellite m200, Windows Vista

Hello vigs,
And welcome to Apple Discussiosn!

I'm assuming you updated to iOS 4 correct? Have you doubled checked to make sure the App hasn't been restricted? To do this, head to *Settings -> General -> Restrictions* and make sure they are set to Off.

I still can't see my app store icon on my app pages but I can see it on the multitask bar. I have a third gen iPod touch 32GB with iOS.4 with all restrictions off.
