Can't Send Rich Text Formatted eMail
I have searched the forums for an answer to this issue but couldn't find anything relative, so I thought I make a new post.
No matter what setting I set, every email I send in Mail.app is sent in plain text format. It appears Mail.app is stripping out the formatting. It has been this way since upgrading to Leopard, I just never took the time to investigate it, but now I have a real need to send rich text formatted emails.
In Mail.app I go to Preferences -> Composing tab, under *Message Format*:I chose *Rich Text*; under Responding I have unchecked: *Use same message format as the original message*. I have tried it checked and un-checked. Makes no difference.
I have several email accounts from different domains and when sending to myself to verify this issue, I find that no mail is received in rich text. And again, in the Sent folder of Mail.app all emails show as plain text.
Even when I receive rich text and reply to those in rich text, Mail.app converts everything to plain text with no formating.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
