Invisible Icons

Sometimes some icons become invisible in the home screen menu. If I swipe to the next page and back again sometimes the icon appears again sometimes I have to swipe several times. This problem is not just limited to one special icon. It happens to several randomly picked icons. (screenshot: http://yfrog.com/mi8mej)

Does anyone has the same problem? Hopefully this will be patched in the future although it ain't a severe bug.

Thats a new one to me, is there anything you do that makes it happen? IOS4 seems to have quite a few bugs so far

No, I can't reproduce the problem. Most of the time it works without problems, but sometimes the icons are just gone.

Just curious... If you touch where the icon should be, does thte iphone do anything? Like launch the app with the missing icon?

I saw this same problem on my phone this morning, which was the first time happening to me. If I swiped to a different page, and then return, the icon that was originally invisible appeared, but then another icon became invisible. Do the process again, next page, back, and it would reverse back to the original way. The only way I could fix it was by restarting the phone.

My wife's phone has the same issue... A hard reset did nothing for the issue... I'm hoping a restore will fix it...

Yes I've had this, very random, if you touch where it should be the app still opens.

I also have the battery drain issue now after 4.1, and phone is very hot. I'm wondering if I need to take my phone back....
