Arrow Keys Not Working in Flash

Ever since a few months ago any flash game that utilizes the keyboard has not been working for me. Sometimes the other keys work fine, but for the most part the arrow keys and the rest don't. They work perfectly outside of flash games for anything else. This isn't just one specific flash game, or site that I'm playing on. It goes for all flash games, and web browsers. The only go-around solution I found was using an app to download the .swf file to my hard drive and play it. Thats the only way I've gotten it to work, but I don't want to do that with every game of interest I come across. Does anyone have a proper solution?

A new user account on your mac - http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/8235.html

Re the folder - it contains stored Flash settings & the equivalent of cookies, you can trash the whole folder, or at least move it to the desktop. Those files are unique to each mac user account, hence testing in another one would show if that's worth doing or not, and tell us if the problem is somewhere within your usual account, or a system-wise issue.
