IPhone 4 Bluetooth Issues

Okay, so hope springs eternal: can anybody say that their post-iOS 4.0 iPhone 4 actually works well with ANY Bluetooth headset? Please, somebody say "Yes", and let us know which one(s)...

I'm not suggesting this for anyone's monetary gain. Two goals only: that Apple admit there is a BT problem and that they solve the problem.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Do u still have ur 'apple' Bluetooth headset and are u interested in selling?

Am I correct in stating that this is not an iPhone 4 issue per se, but more directly related to the release of iOS 4? As I recall iOS 4 crapped out BT even on iPhone 3/3s models as well. Right?

Unfortunately I think it's a hardware issue on the 4 and 4s.

A few on my friends still have 3GS's with IOS 4

And they still have perfect bluetooth.

Has anybody tried the Apple headset? Maybe this is simply another of Apple's controlling what we do and what we purchase issues.

5.1 update tonight. No change looks like software isn't going to fix this issue.

TicToc Apple the Droid is gaining ground. And with such a minor issue it's a shame.

I am using "Smart" bluetooth device, it works perfectly fine with iPhone 4S.

Connection never drops. Able to receive calls and good quality music listening.

What is your 'smart' device please?

No, this is my second iPhone with this headset. I still have my Jabra and it works just fine with the new iPhone too. Maybe I have been lucky - I hope my lucky streak keeps on going 😀

That's just crazy because my wife & Son all have 4+'s and they all have the issue with any earpiece we've tried.

I had tried upto 4 different iPhone 4 (3 using IOS4 and one using IOS5) and all have the problems of finding another iPhone 4 through the bluetooth. Does anyone know any solution to that?

I don't think you'll run onto any issues with the HM1700, regardless its 3.0 Bluetooth, since every newer version is supposed to be backwards. Compatible with the earlier ones...

Replacing the phone with a 4s does not solve the problem. I have only a 4s and I am highly frustrated with the quality of connections between it and a high-end Plantronics headset.
