White Stars - Ratings

What do white stars (not black or filled) as rating mean in iTunes?

Alienware Aurora, Windows 7

That means you rated the Album (4 stars in this case).
If you rate an album, songs not rated by you will get hollow stars.
If you rate a song, the album will get automatically rated based on the song ratings you give.
