Feb 5, 2011 10:44 PM in response to wrecktifyby JACC4567,My wife is having the same problem with her iPhone 4. She did drop it however. I have taken it apart to investigate and I believe its the sim card connector. No one can hear her at all when she calls and mine works fine. I swapped our sim cards and her phone worked perfect (with my sim card) until 5 minutes into talking. I figured there must me a loose connection in the sim card connector. I ordered a new one online and will see how it works. If I have any luck I will tell. -
Feb 8, 2011 7:08 PM in response to wrecktifyby bluerunner,This may work. It worked for me. Go into Settings, then choose Sounds. On Ringer and Alerts, I put the volume down to zero and then all the way up. This solved the problem. (At least for now) -
Feb 8, 2011 9:50 PM in response to bluerunnerby JACC4567,Thanks Bluerunner. It worked for hers too for now. Hopefully its permanent. -
Feb 13, 2011 12:07 PM in response to JACC4567by skay,Unfortunately same issue also for me
It seems to be ok after a restore, so it was software problem not hardware.

I would like, and pretend as costumer, to have a GOOD software update without stupid alarm clock bugs, and stuff like this one.

Feb 14, 2011 9:46 AM in response to wrecktifyby winstonsalemdude,Same issue, problems here. Apple has replaced iP4, worked for an hour, then back to same prob. AT&T says needed new SIM card; took it today to AT&T, replaced SIM, they called me in the store, they couldn't hear me. Sending me back to Apple today (70 miles roundtrip).
I'm a longtime Mac owner, Apple customer. This may be the final straw. -
Feb 15, 2011 1:28 PM in response to wrecktifyby sadorno,I am having the same issue. I had to replace my iPhone 4 due to the GPS not working and the brand new phone had this issue the minute I started using it. I am going in there tomorrow and getting a new phone. If the issue continues I am switching to Droid. I was the biggest iPhone fan just 2 weeks ago, but am now very anti-Apple. -
