Soundtrack Error Message
Problem: The problem started yesterday when I tried to send a sequence from Final Cut Pro to Soundtrack Pro for audio mix-down when the error message appeared (see attached).
Troubleshooting: I tried to open the project directly from Soundtrack Pro, no good, same error message. I then removed my Preferences, no good, still the same error message. Opened my project from one of the other edit systems in the building and found that it works just fine. So that tells me that the problem is with my Mac Pro. I tried opening other/older Soundtrack Pro projects and they won't even open, I get the same error message. I've tried updating Soundtrack Pro, no luck. I've tried removing Soundtrack Pro and reinstalled it, no luck. Went on the internet and checked some web forums and found that I'm not the only one with this problem, other people having the same error issue I'm having.
This happen to me before about six months ago with a Mac Book Pro laptop; I eventually had to reinstall all of Final Cut Studio to get Soundtrack Pro working again. Is there another option?
