Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
In regards to using Safari in Private mode, have searched high and low if it is possible to view a history. Has anyone found a work around by making program changes or by some other method?
I use a full Apple eco system, iPad Pro, iPhone XS and MacBook Pro that runs High Sierra.
Hoping that someone can advise if possible.

thankyou for replying. Is their some code that could be modified to allow history to be saved? Years ago you could go through ‘Finder’, open WebpageIcons.db and drag it into an SQLite Browser. It would then show.
The whole idea of Private Browsing is to keep your browsing private. If you need History then don't use Private Mode.
Safari doesn't save history in the Private Mode.
You are welcome. There may be a way, but I don't know what it would be. My understanding is it is no longer saved.
