I am the original owner. My son made his own account. My daughter locked it out. We restored it with iTunes and now we can’t get past the activation lock without the email. We know the password but not the email and I’m not sure what name he used for the account.

If you cannot remember the email address, I would strongly suggest getting the original proof of purchase and then call Apple to request removal of the activation lock.

She told me that if I restore its gain it would be back to factory reset and I know that isn’t true.
