I have the latest iOS and watchOS. When I go to either the health iOS app or the watch app there is no ecg option. When I tap the ecg on the watch and open the health app nothing happens.
Any ideas? I rebooted both devices.

ECG will not work on beta versions of watchOS or iOS and requires the current version of iOS and watchOS.

I participated in the iOS beta program, but Profiles no longer shows up in Settings, so I can't delete the beta profile. Not quite sure what to do, but I'd sure like to give ECG a try.
I’d suggest reenrolling and re-downloading the profile. Or just reinstall it if you’re still enrolled. I’d be willing to be you’ll be able to download the iOS that will fix the Health app.
Sounded like a great idea, so I tried it. Re-downloaded the profile, restarted phone, deleted profile, restarted phone. Alas, still no ECG under Heart on Health app. Thanks, though.
But did you check for a new Software Update in settings? When I deleted my profile, I could then reinstall 12.1.1, even though it was already on my phone.
removing the beta profile worked. So can I reinstall the beta profile or will that remove the ecg function? Not that I need to care about the ecg right now...

I have the same problem... can't find profiles in the settings, so how do I delete it?
I am having the same issue, as well.
I had this same problem - SOLVED - just update your phone s/w to 5.1.2. The first thing it did then was walk me through the ECG setup. All good now!
