Unable to update/download apps in Mac App Store

Unable to update and download apps in the Mac App Store after updated to macOS 10.14.2.

The error given is in the attached screen shot.

"The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed."

From what you've described and shown with your screen shots, I would recommend using the steps outlined in If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books - Apple Support. Should you still need help after that, please get in touch with Apple Support directly: Contact Apple Support.
