Lithium Ion Battery

I just bought some HomePods from BestBuy online. They arrive with Lithium Ion Battery warning on box. Of course, I'm checking one on an airplane. HomePod does not have a Lithium Ion battery, right? BestBuy swears the sticker on the box is the way it comes from Apple. What gives?

Airpods Don't Warn About Low Battery I had the first gen Airpods for years and absolutely loved them. When one got down to 10% I would hear the low battery warning, but still had plenty of time to finish what I was doing before recharging. Eventually, the battery life degraded too much and I upgraded to the second gen Airpods. On the new ones I only get the low battery warning as they are dying. Is this by design or are my new ones buggy? I would really like to get the warning while there's still some juice left.

Can Airpod batteries be replaced? My airpods [1st generation] only last for an hour listening time after charging. They are several years old so I'm wondering if the battery can be replaced rather than buying a new pair.

It may have one to retain settings in case of a power interruption but I am not aware of that. Mine didn't have such a sticker.

The iFixIt tear down makes no mention of a battery. I think your assumption is good. 😉
