Ipad Activation Lock Out.

Long story short. I obtained my Ipad through my school. My 1 1/2 year old got a hold of it and started continually pressing the home button while I was away at work (my wife did not notice until it was to late.) and locked out the Ipad to the point that I could not access it. So, instead of coming to Apple first, I decided I would just to a factory reset, which I had done before and never had this issue. Anyways, I

paid for it, however do not have a receipt showing the Imei# or whatnot. Just show's "Technology Kit for Tablet" $650. So, I am guess that Apple will not unlock this Ipad for me that I paid for through my school. I have used the AppleID that I used when I was in school and still use today for my Iphone6S. When I go into my devices on the Iphone, it does not show my Ipad listed as a device for that AppleID for some odd reason. When I try to put in the AppleID and password (that does work) I get an error stating that this AppleID cannot unlock this IPAD. So, without any hesitation I try to use any other combination of previous emails (which again, do work from older Apple products) and all those also state that it cannot be used to unlock this Ipad. Not sure what to do at this point because I refuse to pay Apple any more money for anything. I never signed up for find my iPhone on this IPAD so it should not have any activation lock on it to begin with. Any help in regards to helping me unlock my ipad would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

If the iPad is on the activation lock screen you must have enabled Settings > iCloud > Find iPad 'on' on it.

For the correct id the iPad will show in the Find iPhone section of the account on it on http://www.icloud.com

Apple are unlikely to remove activation lock from the iPad without proof of ownership e.g. original receipt with its serial number on it
