This morning at the corner of my screen a bright blob appeared, ever since then it keeps growing. I don’t want to tell my parent about it because they’ll be mad and I’ve not got enough money to fix it, if anyone knows how to fix it please tell me I’ll be more than grateful.

Is it correct that you're talking about the diagonal line from the lower left corner to the upper right corner of the display?
Is this line always on the screen when you open an app too or only on the lock screen. If it's only on the lock screen it might be part of your wallpaper?!
