How do you remove yourself from group conversations on the iPhone XS

Not just you. Nobody in a group MMS can get out, so to speak, because MMS doesn't support that. iMessage is only a conditional alternative to your de facto SMS and MMS which are otherwise always there for ya. It only kicks in when all addresses are iMessage-able. They are different systems with different headers, protocols and channels. They can't cross-pollinate.

If it's group MMS, which it would be if any one or more of the addresses is non-iMessage-able, you can't. MMS simply doesn't support that.
The group conversation is not in iMessages. There is no selection for leave conversation only hide alerts.

I do! How much? 😆 But it's got nothing to do with the phone. It's an MMS thing regardless of anything else.
That’s crazy so you’re saying that if someone in the group has a different platform you can’t get out? Has to be iMessage or mms?
