why is jigsaw puzzle using somuch storage? i only have two purchased puzzles

Jigsaw puzzle on iPad will not open. Now finding it is using 31GB of storage. I have only 2 purchased puzzles. For the past few weeks I have had issues getting app to open. When it does, it freezes often. I have cleared memory and restarted often but still having issues. Now puzzle will not open at all.

Resolved ? I deleted app then restarted iPad. Downloaded again from App Store. Apps now opens but the two puzzles I purchased are available for re-download. I re-downloaded one of the two puzzles. Checking storage and it shows jigsaw puzzle only using 160MB. Far cry from 31 GB..

If no other apps on your iPad are bloating, that is serious enough to let the developer know. App bloat is not unknown and is just sloppy coding.

The puzzle app ("Jigsaw Bug") I use does not do that but I find the Amazon Prime Video app bloats. It starts out under 200MB but, after some use can balloon to over a gig even though I've downloaded nothing. Netflix app does not do this. Every so often I have to delete the Prime Video app and re-download it to reclaim the space.
