When logging into my iPad, it says my location is Chicago when I’m in Alaska. Should I be concerned?

When logging into my iPad, it says my location is Chicago when I’m in Alaska. Should I be concerned?

Probably not. It's more likely that your wireless router has been used in Chicago and its current location hasn't been updated.
Is the wireless router yours or from your internet provider? Did you move recently?

If you haven't, change the password for your router's wifi network and for the login page (you'll find instructions for both of these on the company's website).
If you've done these things already, you're good to go. It could just be that the router's default location is Chicago or something similar.

It’s only been used at my location. I bought the router myself. I’m concerned someone has gotten into my system somehow.
