Air Drop Issue
My wife air dropped a number of photos from her photo ap on her iphone7S. I accepted them and the message to accept them in my photo pa was selected. The process completed, but the photos never appeared in my photos ap.

Hmm, they are probably there, but may be difficult to locate.
Try the "search" feature. Open the Photos app on your phone and select the "search" option. Then enter a person's name, location, category or group etc.
