Iphone Xs Max photos in high light worse than iphone 6 or 7

So i have been clicking pictures from my iphone Xs Max and the pictures have been kind of crayon-ish. I didnt find anyone else having issues so i guessed i’ll post this issue here

If the behavior persists, some additional information that would be helpful to know is: does this occur in different lighting conditions? Are you using the built-in Camera app or a third-party app? Is it happening with different levels of zoom?
