I am switching from iPhone 7 to XR. I wanted to find out whether the passes and gift cards I stored on the Wallet app would be carried over to the new phone when I switch the phone and use the same iCloud ID to login to my new phone as that of the old phone.
they will only pass along if you have key chain enabled or you back up your iPhone using an encrypted backup and then set up your new iPhone from that backup
