Updating OSX

Hi, My Lap top 9 MacBook Air 13" 2014 I tried to Erase the disk and now I cannot re boot . I tried to install Sierra again but it says the disk is corrupted and to repair from restart disk but I cannot find this disk.

A 2014 MBA doesn't have a restart disk - what it has is either the Recovery Partition or Internet Recovery. First try this: Restart the computer while holding the command & R keys to start with the recovery partition. If that fails, try holding Option, Command and the R key to restart in Internet Recovery.


Now you can erase the hard drive and reinstall the OS.
