Mac Mail Signatures Disappearing

I am having issues with Apple Mail on my iMac. The issue deals with the signatures and the application does not maintain my signatures. I have tried resetting the SMC and PRAM but that did not help. The signatures are within the app as long as the Mail program is opened. When the Mail program is closed and reopened the signatures are missing. In my case I have two Gmail IMAP mail addresses used for different purposes. Could this be an issue with iCloud since I have an iPhone also?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that signatures disappear when Mail is closed on your iMac. You've done a great job trying to get this resolved. I'm happy to help.

It's possible there is a permissions setting is preventing the changes from being saved. I recommend using the steps in the following link to check your permissions for this user:

Resolve issues cause by changing the permissions of items in your home folder

If the issue persists, test this issue in another user account. This will help determine if this is user specific or system wide.
