How do you add a group name to a text?

How do you add or remove names from that text?

IOS 15.1 no longer lets you name group chats? I loved being able to compose a text to two or more contacts, then being able to name that group something so I always knew who I was messaging. With the new iOS 15.1 it is gone or hidden behind some extra clicks I don't know about. Old way is here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211301, and still on Apple's website. Why was this changed? The new photos and links I've sent to the group is not needed. [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Personal Information]

Group Text naming I have started a group text but when I follow the directions to add a group name: by clicking the icon on phone or iPad it only shows who is in group. Does not provide a way to add the group name or even add additional people to text message

This can only be done for a group imessage (blue text) all user are using Apple products.

Can't be done for a group MMS (green text) mix iphone and android users. Send a group message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
