Unlock Iphone and Factory Reset

Greetings,

Hello everyone. Just recently I unlocked my wife's iPhone using the Erase and backup from the ICloud method. I would like to reset the iPhone to new but I would like to know if I do the factory reset, would the phone be locked again? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
