Problem with battery on my iPhone SE

Pls help. Everytime my battery is fully charged and I go outside when temperature is 2 celsium like today my phone goes from 100% to less than 10% in a few minutes. Then it shut down and there’s nothing I can do. Yes, I touch it with cold fingers but I carry on my phone always in my leather bag, I use leather iPhone cover. This happens when I need the phone the most, like calling to my employer of find a way in uknown city. It really ****** me off. What can I do? I simply don’t have possibility to charge iPhone when I’m outside. Thank you.

Hello katarina210,

Thanks for choosing Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post that your iPhone battery drains fast when you go outside with temperatures that are 2 celsius. I also understand that you have a leather case on your phone and keep it on a leather bag when you are outside. I am happy to provide some information about acceptable temperatures for the iPhone.

Use iOS devices where the ambient temperature is between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F). Low- or high-temperature conditions might cause the device to change its behavior to regulate its temperature. Using an iOS device in very cold conditions outside of its operating range might temporarily shorten battery life and could cause the device to turn off. Battery life will return to normal when you bring the device back to higher ambient temperatures. Using an iOS device in very hot conditions can permanently shorten battery life.

Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures
