Can you recommend software to remove pop up ads on MacBook Air, High Sierra 10.3.6, using Safari.

If the pop-up reloads, force quit Safari (command - option/alt - esc) and reopen with the shift key held down. If that doesn't work, disconnect from the Internet, go to Safari/History and delete the website. Quit and reopen with the shift key held down. Then reconnect to the Internet.

I'll check out EtreCheck; I do use Malwarebytes. Google queries all note check block pop up windows. I have latest version of Safari and that option is not noted in Security tab as noted in replies.
Thanks for advice. Block pop up option not noted in Safari Mac preferences (as noted on iPhone). Still searching for solution.
