Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Tried to update software, unknown error occurred so it wants to restore, but this keeps failing with the same message. Cannot use phone. Have repeatedly tried since last night with no success. Phone is now stuck with Apple logo on the screen. Very frustrating!!!

I finally resolved the problem! I decided to restart my iMac which is what I backup to. Once done it took about an hour to restore my phone. Hope this helps others!!
