I am in the process designing a logo for my new business. I am quite confused
about the legalities of using existing fonts/typefaces from Microsoft
Word/PowerPoint. Do you know how I can find out if I am able to use ‘Chalkduster’
without any charge?
Chalkduster is an Apple created font with a 2008 copyright. The embedding rights listed in the font are:
Preview & Print Embedding Allowed
Meaning you can, for example, legally use it in a PDF (where fonts are embedded and can't be used by others).
