will american bought iphones work in the philippines?

If I buy an iPhone XR in the US, the unlocked and sim-free version, will it work in the Philippines? or southeast asia? I looked up certain lte bands that the phone supports, it turns out that my country uses those bands. I just want to make sure it will work, because if it doesnt, it will be hard for me to return the phone since i live in the Philippines. Feedback would really be appreciated.
